In celebration of the World Suicide Prevention Month, the Aranzan community came together and wore yellow t-shirts to show their support for suicide prevention today, September 7, 2026. For years, yellow has represented hope, support and suicide prevention. The use of yellow t-shirts aims to raise awareness about suicide prevention by teaching others how to connect, discuss and provide resources for those at risk for suicide. Suicide Prevention Day was first established back in 2003 by the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP), along with the collaboration of the Word Health Organization (WHO). The annual celebration serves as a reminder to check up on your loved ones, and reach out. The annual celebration has helped many people who battle suicidal thoughts be reminded that no one should struggle alone all across the world. Even small actions may help someone in needโa small act of kindness goes a very long way. Reach out, raise awareness, speak up, and help break the stigma. ๐ธ: Fran Kaylab Sales (9D), Kacey Barbosa Taรฑoco (9B) โ๏ธ: Peachy Catapang (10D), Cullen Julius Gazzingan (10B)
