𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗕𝗲𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

A quiz bee and tessellation making was held at Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu on September 8, 2026. Giving the elementary students an opportunity to display their intelligence and creativity. The quiz bee featured nine groups, with each team composed of one Grade 6, one Grade 5, and one Grade 4 student. The participants put their knowledge in Mathematics, Science, and English to the test as they competed against one another. The quiz bee was guided by Sir Eric, Ma’am Patricia, Ma’am Keana, and Ma’am Shaine, with the JHS Quizzers Club lending a hand throughout the event. Sir King and Ma’am Juliana kept the program moving as its masters of ceremonies, while Ma’am Julie Ann Pajardo, the school principal, opened the event with her knowledgeable remarks. As the quiz bee commenced, the elementary students also got busy with their own creative challenge; the tessellation-making activity. Tessellation is the art of arranging repeated shapes so that they fit together without leaving gaps or overlaps. Each section took part, with every student creating their own design and putting their imagination into the patterns they made. With both activities taking place side by side, the day became a showcase of what the students could do beyond the classroom.
